Information for Parents
No school can work well for children if parents and teachers do not act in partnership on behalf of the children's best interests
We want to have a great working relationship with parents. Starting from admissions right through to the important time when your child transitions from year 6 to become a more mature student in secondary school, we are here to help you. We know that by working with parents we can secure better outcomes for your children.
With this in mind we ensure that the headteacher and deputy headteacher are out regularly at the beginning and end of the day. Class teachers are also out at the end of every day to deal with any concerns, issues or problems you may have. We have a full time parent support advisor to help with more complex problems, a native speaking Polish member of staff who is on hand to translate, as well as a range of free parental courses on things like managing challenging behaviour at home and learning English.
We think our current parents and children are pleased with the provision the school provides - although we can always do better! Results of the latest Parent and Children's Questionnaire can be found here.

The Curriculum
Parents and carers need to know what their children are learning during their stay with us. We have provided a breakdown of this information on a year by year basis so that you can see the curriculum details for your own child's area of learning.
To find out more about the curriculum to your child's year group, travel across to the classes page!
Important Information
Schools must provide specific information to all parents and carers which relates to different aspects of how our school is run. This covers certain key policies, links to information on external websites such as OFSTED as well as details of how we are provided with additional funding. These are located on our home page.
Newsletters
We send out regular newsletters to parents - trying to make them as parent friendly as possible! Please click here for current and past newsletters.
School Calendar
Everyone needs to know what is happening in school and so we have provided an updated school calendar which shows the key events throughout the year. You can print out the calendar and use it at home if wish and you can even export specific events from the calendar and import it into your calendar at home if this is a benefit to you.
We hope you'll make use of this area of our website and we encourage you to feedback your thoughts and suggestions to make it even better!
